"It was love at first sight. A couple of years ago, my ex-girlfriend and I decided to adopt a kitten from her parents' cat, who had recently given birth. Among all the kittens in the litter, I instantly fell for a small, black, fluffy ball —Molly. Since that day, we’ve shared many experiences together, and I’ve come to see her as a reflection of myself.

People often say that animals mirror their owners—especially when it comes to dogs—but I can really see that with Molly. Lets put it this way: I enjoy quiet moments spent just thinking on the couch, and it seems like she appreciates the same kind of stillness. Plus, she’s always dressed in black, just like me. I made the conscious decision a few years ago to wear all black, because I work in the coffee industry, but I also feel like it was a decision that was partly inspired by Molly. Cats don’t wear clothes; they only wear their fur, and it always fits. Wearing all black reflects a similar simplicity and functionality.

But what I love most about her is how she keeps me awake at night with her snuggles. She usually makes her way into my room around 3 or 4 in the morning, finds her way to my head, and starts making biscuits on my face. It’s the cutest thing, and honestly, I can’t be mad about that!"
